Last year, a local resident asked about the potential for recycling pumpkins in Airdrie after Halloween. Mayor Peter Brown says the City jumped on the idea and this year, your pumpkin can be put to good use.

The Pumpkin Bash, Wednesday, officially kicks off the recycling initiative. Staff at the Eastside depot will host the event with games, popcorn, a chance to see how a garbage truck works and more. Make your way to 15 East Lake Hill NE in Airdrie, and join the fun!
