As part of Small Business Week in Airdrie, the Mayor's Business Appreciation Evening saw an impressive crowd at City Hall Wednesday night. Mayor Peter Brown said the success of the night was entirely due to the many who attended and the efforts of Airdrie's city staff.

City Manager, Paul Schulz was taken by how engaged the group seemed to be in getting to know city staff.

Small Business Week runs until Oct. 21, finishing with the Winning Edge Awards banquet on Friday at Woodside Golf Course.
