All the previously reported incidents on the QEII have now been cleared.

According to RCMP, traffic was slow going as there were several minor multi-vehicle collisions. They were all located in the southbound lanes by Olds, Carstairs and Crossfield. Multiple vehicles and a jackknifed semi were reported to be in the ditch by Olds. A portion of the QEII southbound by Carstiars was closed because of a jackknifed semi but has since reopened.

If you do see any new collisions or anything stalling traffic, make sure to slow down when you are passing by to keep the first responders safe.

With all the melted snow from today freezing on the roadways, make sure you are driving to the conditions of the road.

10 to 30 centimetres of snow is expected by Friday morning across southern Alberta including the Airdrie area. Airdrie is currently under a snowfall warning.
