The Airdrie Thunder have to be happy with the results at the end of pre-season, beating the Cochrane Generals 5-0 Yesterday. Now it's up to GM Frank McEvoy and his coaching staff to put together the team that will take to the ice for the 2011/2012 regular season.

The regular season gets underway for the Thunder this Friday, as they host the Three Hills Thrashers at Ron Ebbeson Arena. Game time is 8PM.
