Calgary police are advising that they are currently on the scene assisting the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) with investigating a suspicious death in the northwest community of Beddington Heights.

"On Friday, November 4 at approximately 5:30 p.m., we were called for reports of a man in medical distress in the 0 to 100 block of Bermuda Drive N.W. Upon arrival, officers located one man deceased," a press release stated. 

Investigators and the OCME are trying to determine if the circumstances of the man’s death are suspicious. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, November 7.

"No additional details are available at this time. More details will be shared should this death be deemed a homicide."
