The remains of Chelsea Davidenas have now been located.

According to the City of Calgary, over the past few days, they have been looking for Davidenas remains in rural areas southeast of Calgary.

Yesterday, after pinpointing the search area, the City of Calgary enlisted the help of the Calgary Search & Rescue Association (CALSARA) to aid in the search operations

"Late in the afternoon on Thursday, April 4, 2024, members of the Calgary Police Service Missing Persons Team located human remains northeast of Caresland, Alta., near Range Road 254 and Highway 901," stated the press release.

Investigators collaborated with The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, which has since confirmed the identity of the remains as Davidenas.

On Wednesday, a 26-year-old Airdrie man was charged with first-degree murder by Calgary police, in relation to the disappearance back in February.

Steven Aaron Zwick was charged alongside a Calgary man, 52-year-old Paul Joseph Rushton.

Police said they believe that she was targeted because of her history as a sex worker.

Investigators do not believe that this case is connected to any other missing persons in Calgary.
