A broken window has our local legion asking what happened.

When a member of the Airdrie Legion Branch 288 arrived Tuesday morning at their building, they realized one of their upstairs windows was broken and appeared to have been shot at.

Bill Drummond, First Vice President of the Airdrie Legion Branch 288 explained it had to have happened sometime between Saturday and Tuesday.

"It was Tuesday morning when somebody went upstairs and discovered the broken glass."

Drummond believes it was shot at from the sidewalk.

"We found the bullet in the roof, so it must have been an upward-angle shot."

According to Airdrie RCMP, they believe that it was a pellet gun that was used to shoot at the window.

The file has been concluded as they have no suspects and the neighbours did not see anything.

"I'm very disappointed that somebody would have the audacity to do something like this," Drummond finished off.

If you have any possible information that could help lead to finding out who did this, please contact the Airdrie RCMP.
