The Alberta Senior C Lacrosse Champions had Gold in their sights when they traveled to Prince George, B.C last weekend (August 11th-13th) for the Western Canadian Championships.

The Airdrie Mohawks swept their way through the Round Robin, the team met up with Port Moody in the semi final, but couldn't scratch their way past, falling 9-6.

In the Bronze Medal match, the Mohawks would get their redemption, albeit by a hair with a 9-8 win over Mission.
