Airdronian Jake Neighbours, and multiple Calgary Flames players will play for Team Canada at the 2023 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Championship May 12-28 in Tampere, Finland, and Riga, Latvia.
Neighbours who is a forward will be wearing number 63 for Team Canada and is one of the 20 athletes selected for the roster. Additions to the lineup will be made in a couple of weeks.
Neighbours does have International Hockey experience as he has played in the World Juniors for Team Canada before.
