The Airdrie Aces Athletic Club has been busy with trials meets for the Canadian Nationals, the Western Canadian Championships and the Alberta Summer Games.

Several athletes that are going to Nationals have decided to rest and train rather than travel to the Westerns, as the two events are only one week apart.

Andreas Troschke and Scott Chalupiak are expected to place well, having both found success in recent months.

Troschke will compete in both the Nationals and the Westerns in the hammer throw, while Chalupiak will take part in the 400m hurdles at Nationals.

Logan Nellis, Isaac Wetmore and Nadia Hand are expected to place top 6 or better in Canada in their respective events.

The Aces hope that all their athletes are able to reach the top 10 or better in Canada.
