Dates have been announced for the third Airdrie Children's Festival.

It is set to take place May 30 and 31, 2020 at Nose Creek Park.

The first Airdrie Children's Festival was a one-day affair and attracted approximately 4,000 people.

This year the Airdrie Children's Festival Society decided to expand the event to two days and it was another huge success.

“For 2020, we will be growing from the successes from our first two years,” says Tara Levick, ACFS board member.

Levick says festival attendees can expect even more exciting things to come next year.

The free event will feature a children's village play area, live entertainment, inspiration stations, and learning workshops.

The Airdrie Children's Festival Society has also announced the date for 'Comedy at the Bert', which will help raise much-needed funds for the 2020 festival.

Tim Nutt and Charles Haycock will perform on March 28, 2020, with tickets anticipated to go on sale this Fall.
