Three of the four Airdrie Lightning teams were on the ice last weekend in the South Central Alberta Hockey League.

The Peewee Red had just one game on Sunday (October 28th) where they lost 4-2 to the Okotoks Oilers Black.

Mitchell Patrick scored the only two goals for Airdrie in that game, pushing his season total to 12.

The Peewee White had two games and unfortunately fell in both of them.

Talen Lewis had two goals on Saturday as the Lightning lost 6-5 to the Cranbrook BP Wings.

It didn’t get any better on Sunday as the team fell 13-2 to the West Central Tigers. Jaxon Bouchard and Hunter Jaman scored the only goals for Airdrie in that game.

The Bantam boys also had two games last weekend, losing the first game 2-0 to the Bow Valley Timberwolves. Austin White was solid making 41 saves in that loss.

On Sunday, the Bantam Lightning lost 7-2 to the Medicine Hat Hounds with Daytn Kulynych and Cayden Hartnell scoring for Airdrie.

The Midget Lightning didn’t play last weekend but are back on the ice this Saturday to play the Olds Grizzlys.
