While the regular season in the Calgary Spring Football Association didn't turn out so well for the Airdrie Raiders, so far the playoffs are going just fine.

The Raiders hosted their first home field playoff game since April 2016 last night at Ed Eggerer Park in Airdrie and beat the Big Rock Bengals from Okotoks 40 - 29.

It was a first-round playoff matchup and both teams went into the game having won just a single regular season game.  The Raiders put a strong effort together to come away with the win.

There's no word yet on who the Raiders will face in the next round of the playoffs.
