The Airdrie Brewers made it close last night (June 22) but still failed to pick up their first win of the Foothills Major Baseball Association (FMBA) season.

Airdrie dropped a 13 - 11 decision at the hands of the Calgary Canadians making it a dozen straight losses in their first year in the FMBA.  The Canadians improved to 5 and 7.

The game was a bit of a sloppy affair as the teams committed five errors each.  Connor Fitzgerald had three RBIs to lead the Brewers offense.

Next action for Airdrie is a Sunday doubleheader with the Twins who are 5 and 8 on the season.  The first game gets underway at 3:00 pm at the FMBA field in Calgary.
