Wednesday (January 31) was a full night of basketball in Rocky View, with three Airdrie high schools putting teams on the court.

The Bert Church Chargers senior boys got right back to work in their first basketball game after the exam break. The Chargers beat the Chestermere Lakers by 20 points on the road, winning 77-57. The juniors weren't so fortunate, coming away with a road loss to the Lakers 68-36.

The Croxford Cavaliers went on the road to face the Cobras and had a tough night in Cochrane. In the junior game, the Cobras were relentless, pulling off an 89-46 win against the Cavaliers. The senior Cavs didn't do much better in the Snake Pit, ending up with a 91-57 loss to Cochrane.

The George McDougall Mustangs had a few teams in action, with some on the road and some at home. The Junior boys got a win against the Bow Valley Bobcats on the road, thumping the Bobcats 87-53. Back home in Airdrie, the junior girls suffered a 53- 34 loss to Bow Valley
