It was raining goals for the Airdrie Xtreme yesterday afternoon (January 14) as they hosted the Okotoks Oilers.

The Xtreme scored early and kept the offense rolling, en route to a 10-1 victory over the Oilers.

Eight different players scored for the Xtreme including Ty Mueller, who had two goals and notched two assists to be named the game's first star.

Mueller's teammate Sam Vincent also had two goals in the game, while goalie Freddie Halyk made 36 saves in the win and was named the second star of the game.

With the win, the Airdrie Xtreme improve their record to 19-3-5 for 43 points, which is not only first in their division but also second best in the entire AMBHL.

The Xtreme are off next week and return to the ice on January 27th when they host the Lethbridge Golden Hawks.
