As part of her party's five commitments to Albertans leading up the next provincial election, Wildrose leader Danielle Smith made a stop at the Airdrie Public Library, Thursday morning, to introduce the 'Wildrose Commitment to Parents on Education'.

Smith says a Wildrose government will remove politics from the equation when it comes to building new schools. It will prioritize and publicly post an ongoing list of future school sites along with the criteria they use to assess them. She stresses schools will be built where they're needed - not where they're likely to win votes. Smith feels that parents know how to raise and educate their kids best and they deserve more options to choose what is right for their family without having to pay more for it.
