Jake Vold's status for the rest of the National Finals Rodeo is questionable after the Airdrie cowboy was thrown up against the chutes and injured by his draw last night (December 14).

Vold, who had been leading the bareback average prior to the injury, was aboard Redigo when the horse fell up against the chute coming out, leaving the three-time Canadian champion on the ground and in obvious pain.

Vold was given a reride but was medically unable to take it leaving his return to action questionable.

In steer wrestling, it was a bounce-back night for Cochrane's Tanner Milan after his no time the previous night.  Milan's run of 4.4 seconds gave him a split of 5th and 6th place and a cheque for $5,500.

Milan is now 5th in the world standings.

To see the rest of the night eight results go here.
