Dylan Johnston got to live a dream Saturday afternoon.

He was enlisted to play on Team Red in the Crossfield Charity Hockey Game, taking to the ice with various members of the NHL Alumni.

The Airdrie Thunder Forward, who has 3 goals and an assist in 8 games with the team this season, said it was good to get away from the intensity of the Heritage Junior B for one game, scoring a goal in the game didn't hurt either. The Range FM caught up with Johnston in the dressing room after the game.

It's back to business this weekend for Johnson and the Thunder, as they host the Banff Academy Bears at the Ron Ebbison Arena on Friday, and head to Coaldale to take on the Copperheads on Saturday.

The Thunder hold victories this season over both teams, a 6-4 win over the Copperheads back on September 30th, and a 6-1 victory over the Bears in Banff October 9th.

Game time Friday is 8PM.
