Undefeated. A term any athlete loves to hear. And, following last night's Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League action, it seems the Mohawks will get to listen to it a while longer.

The undefeated Mohawks remained undefeated following game in the Plainsmen Arena in Airdrie last night.

The Mohawks took on the Olds Stingers and took the early lead.

Although there was some opposition in the third, the Mohawks took the win in a dominant showing 14-5.

Forward Gerret Werschke was proud of his team.

"We were looking pretty good out there. (We) got a few early and just kept on them."

Werschke said that, despite the opposition and goals from the opposite team in the third, that he's happy with his teams play.

"Our (defence) was pretty solid. We let them take a few too many shots, that's about it. Other than that, better ball movement on offence."

"I was pretty garbage out there," laughed Werschke. "Number 6 was looking pretty good though, so you got to give him all the credit."

All in all, Werschke was glad to get the win.

"You got to keep the undefeated record going."

With one more win under the belt, the Mohawks will look to tonight's game to try and remain perfect. They will head out to the Stu Peppard Arena to take on the Calgary Irish.

The game starts at 8 o'clock.
