The Calgary Stampeders lost a heartbreaker of a game at BC Place against the Lions last night.  Paul McCallum’s 53-yard field goal on the final play of the contest gave the Lions a 33-31 victory over the Stamps.  Head coach John Hufnagel was philisophical about the loss:

The win allows the Lions to extend their winning streak to seven games to pull even with the Stamps at 8-6 at the top of the West Division.  The Stamps are on the road again next week as they travel east to Toronto to face the Argonauts on Friday, Oct. 14. Kickoff is 5:30 local time.
