Coming off a dominating performance on Saturday against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Calgary Stampeders dominated the CFL weekly honors.

John Cornish was named the league's offensive and Canadian player of the week after rushing for 149 yards in Calgary's 40-3 win over the Riders.Cornish also scored on a two-yard run and added a 32-yard TD catch.

His performance Saturday also earned the runningback Top Canadian of the Month honors in the CFL.

Teammate Charleston Hughes captured top defensive player honours. The Calgary linebacker returned a fumble 71 yards for a touchdown against Saskatchewan and also had five tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble.

B.C. Lions linebacker Adam Bighill was named top special teams player.
