How does someone show their support for Ryan Straschnitzki as he makes his way back in a Calgary hospital from a broken back suffered in the tragic Humboldt Broncos bus crash?

If you're young brothers Aidan and Nolan Pole, you do it through a bake sale fundraiser and you get a lot of your friends involved as well, to do most of the baking.

That's what happened on Saturday at the bake sale to benefit the #Strazstrong campaign that was held at the Nose Creek Valley Museum in Airdrie.

Why did the two brothers choose a bake sale as a fundraiser?  Aidan explains, "We always do lemonade stands so we decided to do something different."  Then, in keeping with the spring weather we've had in Airdrie, he adds, "It's too cold for a lemonade stand right now."

Although he admits to not knowing much about Ryan, who he doesn't know personally, Aidan does know how Ryan was hurt.  "A bus crash," he says.  The boys also know what they'd like the Straschnitzki's to use the money for.  "A wheelchair," explains Aidan.

The Pole brothers originally set a goal to make $100 with the bake sale.  But, just like the GoFundMe page for the Broncos and the other outpourings of support for Ryan, that number was quickly blown away.

At the end of the bake sale, $909.95 was ready to be turned over to #Strazstrong.

Kids do some amazing things, don't you think?
