Calgary police are continuing their search for 32-year-old Ryan Porterfield. According to a statement by the police, they are asking citizens living in the area of Highway 566 and Range Road 293 in Balzac to thoroughly search their properties for any indication that Porterfield may have visited the area.

Porterfield has been missing since last week. His car,  a grey 2021 Hyundai Elantra, was located abandoned on Range Road 293 approximately 500 metres north of the intersection of Highway 566 in Balzac, AB, near (but not at) the Costco Wholesale store on Thursday, March 17th.

Previously, a comprehensive search has been conducted by members of the RCMP, Calgary Police Service and Calgary Search and Rescue Association, but Porterfield has yet to be located.

Porterfield is 6’1" tall and approximately 170 pounds with a slim build. He has blue-green eyes, slicked-back brown hair, and a long beard, along with tattoos on his shoulder, left arm, and a half sleeve on his right arm.
