Two former Flames entered the Hockey Hall of Fame on November 14.

Doug Gilmour and Joe Nieuwendyk, both members of the 1989 Stanley Cup winning team, joined Lanny McDonald, Al McInnis, "Bearcat" Murray, "Badger" Bob Johnson and others associated with the team in the honour.

Gilmour took time to thank one of his Maple Leaf coaches.

Nieuwendyk couldn't help but thank Gilmour in helping him get into the Hall.

Gilmour and Nieuwendyk were joined by Defenceman Mark Howe, and Goaltender Ed Belfour in being inducted as the Hockey Hall of Fame's Class of 2011.
