Three Airdrie teams took the field yesterday (May 23), but only one walked away with a win on the last day of regular season Rocky View soccer action.

The George McDougall Mustangs toppled the Croxford Cavaliers with a 6-5 win, to finish third in the Division with a 3-2-1 record.

Meanwhile, Bert Church couldn't put things together on the road, falling 7-4 to the Bow Valley Bobcats. That puts the Chargers at fifth place with a 2-4-0 record.

Both the Mustangs and the Chargers will take part in the Divisional quarter finals next Tuesday (May 30). The Mustangs will face the sixth place Springbank Phoenix, while the Chargers will take on the fourth place Cochrane Cobras. The Croxford Cavaliers finish the season at the bottom of the division, and won't have an opportunity to contend in the Divisional Tournament.
