Payten has been located safe. The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.

 

17-year-old Payten Ear was initially last heard from on April 1, 2022 in Stoney Nakoda First Nation, and Cochrane RCMP was seeking the public’s assistance in locating her. 

It was reported she could have been in the Morley, Cochrane and Calgary areas.  

Payten is described as:

  • 5’4” Tall
  • 120 pounds
  • Brown eyes
  • Black hair
  • Medium complexion
