With 41 of 84 polls counted, it looks like the Airdrie-East riding will be UCP following the rest of the election.

Pitt reacts to the announcement and answers a few questions.
In the past election, Pitt won as a candidate for the Wildrose Party, but was brought into the UCP when the Wildrose and PC combined. It was a close election, with her winning with 35.1% of the votes. NDP Candidate Chris Noble was a close second with 29.9%.
However, this election was not quite as close, with UCP gathering over 60% of the votes.
