All of Airdrie's Elite Men's AA Lightning teams were in action last weekend in the South Central Alberta Hockey League.

The Peewee Lightning White team were the busiest of the teams, playing on Friday and Sunday (December 15,17).

Cayden Hartnell and Jayden Gallant scored the only goals for the Lightning on Friday as they fell 10-2 to the Bow Valley Timberwolves.

Gallant's offensive streak continued on Sunday as he scored two more goals in a tight 4-3 loss to the West Central.

Their Peewee counterparts, the Lightning Red also had a tough weekend as they lost their only game on Sunday, 7-2 to the Central Alberta Selects.

Jaxson Black had Airdrie's only goals in that loss.

The Bantam Lightning picked up a big win for Airdrie on Sunday as Kieran Anderson scored a hat trick to lead the Lightning to a 6-3 win over Red Deer.

Finally, the Midget AA Lightning also had an impressive win as they squeaked by the Central Alberta Selects with Justin Whetston scoring the game winning goal.

The Midget Lightning have two more games in 2017 as they take on Red Deer and Olds next weekend. (December 22, 23).

The Peewee Red face Red Deer on Friday while Peewee White plays West Central on the same day.
