A local lacrosse squad finally gets a taste of home cooking tonight (May 13).

After opening the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League with four straight games on the road, the Rocky View Silvertips Junior Ladies play their first home game tonight.

The 'Tips face the Calgary Cardinals starting at 8:00 in Airdrie's Plainsman arena.

The team is playing in it's second season in the RMLL and is made up of players from Airdrie, Cochrane, Three Hills, Calgary and Strathmore.
