It's a track that has haunted her since her fifth place finish at the 2010 Olympics. This time, Mellissa Hollingsworth would tame the track, finishing first Thursday at a World Cup tour stop in Whistler BC.

Hollingsworth's two run time of 1:49.79 was good enough for her 7th gold in 98 races in her 17 year career. She won silver on the same track at last year's World Cup race in Whistler, and has won 31 medals in total.

She now sits in 3rd place in this year's standings with 1250 points.
