Things are heating up in the Heritage Junior Hockey League (HJHL) scoring race.

Connor Rendell of the Cochrane Generals and Clay Murray of the Airdrie Thunder are currently at the top of the pack.

12 games into the season, Rendell leads the league with 22 goals. Murray is close behind with 19 goals.

Both players will look to keep it up when the Thunder take on the Red Deer Vipers and the Generals battle the Coaldale Copper Heads on Friday, November 4th.
