Just after 11 p.m., Airdrie RCMP stated that the previous road closure was due to a fatal collision on Highway 564 at Range Road 285 has ended. Roads are now open.

Earlier in the evening, police were called to the scene of a fatal motor vehicle collision.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
