Rocky View County (RVC) is providing funding grants for non-profit community organizations.

These grants provided by RVC are to help deliver recreational services to county residents.

The funding also covers general operating and capital costs related to the construction and improvement of recreation facilities and community halls within the county.

Additionally, the county extends support to community organizations and projects categorized to address the diverse needs of its communities.

Each community organization is limited to submitting only one operating or community enhancement application and one capital funding application per calendar year.

The deadline for applying is March 1 at 4:30 p.m.

RVC is also looking for their next recipient for the 2024 Masters Farm Family Award.

Nominations for this year's prize can be submitted to the County's Agricultural Service Board until February 28 where applications will be reviewed at a later date.

Tracy Hanson and Earl Munro, owners of Long Acre Ranch Ltd. are fourth-generation cattle ranchers in the county's Yankee Valley, and they are the 2023 recent winners of the esteemed Master Farm Family Award.

The 2024 winner will be announced at the county's Farm Tour in the summer.
