Two teams within the Heritage Junior Hockey League, both unstoppable so far this season, went up against each other for an intense game of hockey on Friday, September 30.

Despite the Thunder getting on the scoreboard early in the game, the Generals took it from there when they got three goals in the second period, not giving the Thunder a chance to get even remotely close to the net.

They finished off the game with flare by netting two more goals, winning the game with a final score of 5-1.

The Airdrie Thunder shook it off and went onto their next game, which was against the Banff Academy Bears on Saturday, October 1, winning 5-1.

Meanwhile, the undefeated Generals moved on to try their luck against the Red Deer Vipers, dominating the competition, 4-1.
