After an historic start to his NHL career, Cochrane's Tyler Wong is heading to Chicago.

Wong, who spent his Bantam days with the Airdrie Xtreme, was cut by the Vegas Golden Knights and assigned to their American Hockey League partner team, the Chicago Wolves.

In 3 preseason games with the Knights, Wong scored 3 goals and 1 assist. Those three goals all came in the same game, the preseason opener for the Knights against the Canucks on September 17th.

Wong signed a deal with the Chicago Wolves after graduating from the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Western Hockey League last season and eventually joined the training camp for the Knights.

The Chicago Wolves will open their regular season on October 6th against the Texas Stars.
