The Calgary Flames may have "every game matters" as a tagline this season but they're sure not playing like it's true.

The team was in St. Louis on Friday, November 25 to face the Blues and were shut out 2 to 0. Mikka Kiprusoff made 22 saves for the Flames, who have been blanked three times now in 21 games.

Even the addition of Blake Comeau to the Flames' lineup didn't help. The left winger was picked up on waivers on Friday and made it to St. Louis in time for the game.

Brian Elliott, in goal for the Blues, had a stellar game, making 24 saves for his third shut out of the season.

Coach Brent Sutter wasn't entirely disappointed with his team's effort, despite the loss:

The Flames' next game is against the Wild in Minnesota on Sunday, November 27. Game time is 4 pm local time.
