Airdrie fire crews responded to a fire that broke out on Wednesday afternoon at the Old Town Pizza House Bar & Grill, located on Edmonton Trail Northeast.
There is no word yet on the cause of the blaze, but a previous social media post by Airdrie Fire Chief, Mike Pirie stated that everyone had safely evacuated.
In an update, Chief Pirie added that fire crews were overhauling the fire area and venting smoke from the building.
Major traffic delays were previously reported in the area.
