Airdrie fire crews were previously on the scene at the Old Town Pizza House Bar & Grill, located on Edmonton Trail Northeast in Airdrie on Wednesday afternoon.

A social media post by Airdrie Fire Chief Mike Pirie confirmed a fire at the location.

"Fire crews on site and everyone out safe," he wrote. 

Previous traffic delays were reported due to fire crews blocking Edmonton Trail. Crews have since cleared the scene, though there may still continue to be residual traffic build-up.
