Cochane players lost both games in the Western Hockey League Conference finals last night (Friday) and now find themselves facing elimination if they can't come up with a win tomorrow.

In the Western Conference final, Dillon Dube and the Kelowna Rockets went into Seattle and dropped a 5 - 3 decision at the hands of the Thunderbirds.  Dube scored one of the goals for the Rockets who now trail the series three games to two heading back to Kelowna for game six tomorrow night.

Meanwhile in the Eastern Conference final's fifth game, the Regina Pats dumped the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Cochrane's Tyler Wong by the same 5 - 3 score.  Wong was held scoreless for the fourth time in the series.  Game six of that series is also planned for tomorrow in Lethbridge.
