The Airdrie AA Brewers have proven themselves in the Parkland Baseball League.

As the end of the regular season fast approaches, the boys are sitting comfortably above .500.

"We're real happy with the way the boys have committed, and we've got alot of guys really showing they wanna be there and play ball," said Brewers General Manager Tim Kehoe. "And it's about having fun too, we want these guys to get out and enjoy the game."

Kehoe adds that for the Brewers to find success, they will have to ensure they limit their errors in the playoffs.

Brewers Pitcher Dan Gauthier has shown great control on the mound, and has become the ace in a fairly deep pitching lineup.

"We're so spread out in the league, only 16 games all season so you dont get alot of reps when youre only playing a game a week," said Kehoe. "We're gonna try and do some more practicing in the next couple weeks going into the tournament to get guys throwing a bit more."

With three games left in the regular season, the Brewers will also have to make up for a few games which were postponed.

The Brewers wrap up the regular season with three games against the Red Deer Razorbacks, one on the road, and two at home.

The squad visits Red Deer’s Great Chief Park for their next game at 7 p.m. on July 15
