Despite earlier reports that Airdrie's Urgent Care Centre was forced to close earlier Monday morning due to a physician shortage, AHS has since clarified that there were in fact no closures.
Following public notification of a potential temporary closure, Airdrie Urgent Care Centre remained open early Monday morning after physician coverage was secured. Patient care was not interrupted, and the UCC continues to operate 24/7.

Previously, an AHS spokesperson said that due to a temporary gap in physician coverage, UCC was closed from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Monday morning.
