Mounties confirmed that Airdrie RCMP received a call on Sunday afternoon at approximately 4:21 p.m. regarding mischief. According to police, the complainant had said that a group of four to five youths were spraying graffiti underneath the overpass.

The overpass was officially opened to traffic on Friday, October 13. The project took two years to complete, costing approximately $65 million.

This is a developing story. More details will be published when and if they are made available.
