An Airdrie woman has pleaded guilty to fraud over $5000.At her court case in Airdrie on June 20, Trina Hook received a Conditional Sentence Order (which allows her to serve her sentence in the community).

In a plea deal, all other counts against her were withdrawn. The order had several terms listed. The conditions include keeping the peace, being of good behaviour, and appearing in court when required. Hook must notify her supervisor of any changes to her name or address and report to the supervisor by telephone or in-person within five days.

She is required to live in a location approved by her supervisor and undergo an assessment, participating in and completing any recommended counselling, treatment, or programming.

In addition, Hook needs to give formal documentation of having finished any necessary therapy or treatment, as well as sign any releases or waivers of information as instructed.

She is not allowed to have alcohol or any other intoxicating substances for the first six months unless a doctor or dentist prescribes them.

Hook has been mandated to reimburse the Sky View Ranch Homeowners Association $8,427.00. For six months, she will have to follow a curfew of 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with breaks for work, appointments, court appearances, and medical emergencies.

Lastly, she is required to carry her release documents whenever she is outside her house.

By adhering to the conditions of this conditional sentencing order, Hook will be able to avoid going to jail and focus on her reparation.
