Airdrie RCMP are on scene at the 7-Eleven convenience store in Bayside this afternoon (October 15) investigating an incident involving a large group.

Witnesses report a group of young people were at the store causing a disturbance with 7-Eleven staff and some customers.  There are unconfirmed reports that some in the group had some type of weapons. 

Airdrie RCMP Corporal Gina Slaney says more information will be released once police have the chance to investigate the incident more fully.
