The Airdrie A's have fell short of their third championship game in the Senior Big League Playoffs.

Despite their win Wednesday, June 22nd, against the Centennial Royals, the boys were unable to best strong performances from the Bowridge Rays and the Foothills Rockies.

Wednesday night's game against the Royals saw the A's take a 14-9 win at Chinook Winds.

The A's came into this year's playoffs at the top of the league, but were unable to collect a win until Wednesday night's game.

The Airdrie Astros have met a similar fate, leaving Airdrie unrepresented in the Tier 1 championships on Sunday, June 26th.

However, in the Tier 2 championships, the Airdrie Aces are taking on the Centennial Diamondbacks Friday, June 24th.
