Two suspects are in custody following a shelter-in-place order that was issued for areas West of Carstairs on Friday morning by Didsbury Mounties.
"Didsbury RCMP further advised that they are not looking for any further suspects. There is no further threat to the public."
The order was lifted shortly before 10 a.m. on Friday. Earlier this morning, at approximately 7:45 a.m. police issued a shelter-in-place order as police were tracking two armed suspects - a man and a woman, who were believed to be on foot.
The order encompassed Township Road 302 and Highway 580 and between Range Road 15 and Range Road 20. Residents were previously asked to lock their doors and call 9-1-1 with any sightings of the suspicious persons.
More details are expected later today.
