A shelter in place order has been lifted for areas West of Carstairs.
"RCMP have the two suspects in custody," police said in a brief update on Friday morning.
Earlier on Friday, didsbury Mounties issued a shelter-in-place for residents residing between Township Road 302 and Highway 580 and between Range Road 15 and Range Road 20 on Friday morning.
"Didsbury RCMP [were] tracking two suspects believed to be armed with firearms West of Carstairs. The two suspects are described as a man and a woman. They [were] believed to be on foot."
