Airdrie RCMP are still looking into a break in at two churches in Balzac last Saturday (October 26th).

According to the Anglican Parish of St. Clement, their church was hit with a break in with their safe stolen.

While the safe didn’t have any money in it, it did contain the church’s registry. Thankfully, the church says the documents were found after RCMP recovered a stolen vehicle in Olds.

Rita Cattell, Minister of the United church said that the church speaker was stolen but eventually recovered. Cattell said that their Sunday service was delayed while RCMP surveyed the scene.

Thankfull, the owner of the Balzac Diner next door provided space and complimentary food and beverage for the church attendees on Sunday.

RCMP continue the investigate the break ins and are asking for any help from the public.
