47 year old Clinton McIntosh plead guilty to multiple counts of mischief in Airdrie Provincial Court on Thursday, June 16.

In April, McIntosh was caught pulling the hydro meter off both the Home Hardware and Home Depot in Beiseker, leaving both businesses without power.

McIntosh's previous history, including an arrest in December, lead to McIntosh spending the last 71 days in jail waiting for his court appearance.

The judge heard a statement from McIntosh via CCTV, explaining how the 12 week program he has been participating in has helped him to stay sober and re-evaluate his life.

After reviewing the case, the Judge sentenced McIntosh to time served and one year probation. The probation includes a clause prohibiting McIntosh from the use of any drugs and alcohol not prescribed by a doctor, as well as not being able to go into an establishment that serves or sells alcohol as it's main form of business.

McIntosh will be relocating due to being banned from the Village of Beiseker.
